Hi, my name is Janet. I am a SAHM (stay-at-home-mom) to two boys who are 8 years old and 3 years old. I live in California and have been married to my wonderful husband for 12 years. After receiving my MS in Education, I taught continuation school for several years. After the birth of my first son, I decided to stay home with him. I wanted to fill the down time, so I started sewing again. I have always had a love for sewing and creating. When sewing projects for friends and family got to be too much, Seams Country was born. I always wore my son in a sling, but I need something that fit my needs, so I created my own style sling. Then it snowballed from there. I have been in business embroidering, sewing slings, and quilting for the past 6 years, and have loved every moment of it.
